The Worland Youth Learning Center (WYLC) will use proceeds from the fifth cent sales tax to ensure school year and summer learning services for children throughout the community. WYLC provides educational support that is aligned with Worland schools to support academic growth as well as social-emotional support.
We offer an engaging educational environment which includes STEAM activities, hands on learning, mentoring, community projects and summer jobs.
Providing high quality after school programs has immediate and far reaching benefits for our community. Evidence has shown that after school programs positively impact a range of issues such as students’ academic success, school engagement, attendance, grade promotion graduation and health and wellness.
Serving nearly 100 students each year, these services will help give Worland’s kids a positive and healthy start to life and future success in our community. Furthermore, WYLC supports our workforce by providing a safe and fun place for children to be while parents are working.
