Crisis Prevention and Response Center has utilized the General Purpose Tax for the following things;
- Repayment of the loan taken out to cover the costs of the new facility not covered under other grants
- Purchasing a shed where CPRC is able to keep items that are needing for the maintenance and repairs of the facility including some donations to be given out to clients.
While CPRC is funded through State and Federal funding, when those funds have been exhausted CPRC will utilize the General Purpose Tax Funding where it is needed the most which include; assistance for clients with utilities, food, fuel, relocation assistance, other basic life needs and 24 hour on call services and other direct client services based on the client’s immediate needs. Additionally, funding has been utilized for lawn maintenance and office supplies not covered by the State and or funding has been exhausted.
